Association Membership

The Suzuki Talent Education Association of WA has approximately 70 accredited teachers in Metropolitan and Country areas, and approximately 500 Family memberships.

We strongly encourage all Suzuki parents to join the association. Click here for our Constitution. Regular play-a-longs, group sessions and concerts organised by the Association are necessary for the development of confidence to perform in front of audiences.

The earlier this process is started the better. We also encourage members to attend workshops and conferences which offer excellent feedback to the students on their techniques and ability. Sometimes a different way of teaching a student can offer all sorts of insight.

STEAAWA is a Not For Profit Association. We rely on member subscriptions and profits made on our workshops and concerts. The money that the Association makes goes into funding further concerts, conferences and workshops, as well as administration, newsletters, flyers, mail-outs etc. Your membership entitles you to quarterly newsletters and various discounts. Twice a year level graduations are held, and then one large concert at the end of the year. We also have a library of Suzuki resources available at the office.

Despite our best efforts, not all workshops and conferences run at a profit. It is our duty as an association to be able to provide a variety of experiences and opportunities to all instruments and students within the organisation. At times we do fundraising in order to help maintain the association's accounts.

Whether you are a teacher looking to become accredited, or a parent wanting to give your child this opportunity to learn music in a positive and loving environment, the Association offers a great deal of musical experience.

Please download a Membership application form below, or contact the Office on 9386 3882

Your Suzuki Membership entitles you to a quarterly Newsletter with articles on past and upcoming events from all instruments, as well as general articles on the Suzuki method of teaching. It is sponsored by Zenith Music, Snaddens & Musgroves.
