It is a great honor for me to have been appointed President of STEAA (WA). I am enjoying getting to know the teachers and students in the violin faculty and am looking forward to meeting many more teachers, students and parents of the other faculties as the year goes on. I have always enjoyed working with children and their parents, using the ideas of Shinichi Suzuki. It has been a very fulfilling role throughout my life and it makes me very happy to find such a vibrant Suzuki community in my chosen retirement city of Perth. |
